Initially, only four seasons were planned, but the popularity of the series led to Cartoon Network ordering a fifth season. The final half-hour episode of the show, "Things Change", aired on January 16, ; it was later followed by a TV movie, Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo , that premiered on September 15, , serving as the series finale. A 15 minute episode, titled "The Lost Episode" was released as promotion for the movie. Starfire has appeared in numerous cartoon television shows and films, including as a member of the Teen Titans in Cartoon Network 's eponymous series , voiced by Hynden Walch. The design of the character Koriand'r incorporated aspects of many existing characters. I figured based on the description, was Red Sonja in outer space, so she ended up having a visual cue from that. When Joe Orlando passed by and saw the character sketches he suggested that maybe her hair should be longer.

She is the daughter of Trigon. She grew up in an alternate dimension called Azarath. She eventually joined the Teen Titans where she first met Garfield and eventually Damian. She becomes good friends with Starfire.



Starfire was born and raised on the distant planet Tamaran before arriving on Earth and joining the Teen Titans. The Tamaraneans are an emotional race who see feelings as the force that drives their very livelihood. In fact, it's their emotions that fuel their natural abilities of flight. Because of this, Starfire is inherently the most sensitive member of the Titans.
